Spiral point taps are free cutting and push chips forward. They are used in applications where extra reach is required due to the configuration of the part or tapping jig.
4" long spiral point taps are for those hard to reach jobs. Available with standard shanks or reduced diameter shanks when the thread depth extends beyond the thread length of the tap.
