Whitworth Taps
British Standard Whitworth taps were the first to set standards for consistent dimensions. Regal provides 55 degree thread angle taps made on American ANSI standard blanks.
- 55 degree thread angle with rounded thread crests
- Made on ANSI table 302/303 Standards
- Sizes from 1/16 to 2 1/2
Still common in some industries, most have been replaced with metric standards. Straight flute hand taps are the most common and of course Regal can provide any special design in a very short amount of time.
